The Wairoa College Breakfast Club is now in its fourth year of operation. The ‘breakfast club’ began at Wairoa College in May 2007 and ran through terms two and three. Over the last three years, ‘breakfast club’ participation rates have risen from 1900 in 2007 to over 2200 in 2008 and we anticipate even more in 2010.
The Wairoa College Breakfast Club will be serving up another hot menu two days a week on a Tuesday and Thursday during terms 2 and 3 for 2010. Wairoa PHO, Wairoa College and Wairoa Youth Services Trust will begin preparing and serving breakfasts to students of the ‘breakfast club’, their families, as well as school staff from Tuesday 4th May from 8.15am.
